MUST READ for all first time home buyers!!! Buying a home is supposed to be a fun and exciting experience, however, this company made it the complete opposite. I have never been more frustrated and miserable when working with a company as I was working with Financial Equities. This company was so disorganized, unprofessional, and misleading it is unbelievable. We put an offer on a house in May, this company still did not have an answer for us come August regarding our loan application. They dragged us along for months trying to cover up their own mistakes at our expense. They pulled multiple hard inquiries on our credit report making our scores drop, they lied and make you trust them and then use what you tell them in confidence against you. I would NEVER recommend this company to my worst enemy. Please tell me what bank has only 1 owner/executive in the entire company that can sign off on loans who all of a sudden is out of the office for a week, which happens to be the week you are supposed to close on your home, so nothing can be finalized and you have to beg your seller to give you an extension on the closing. This company should be embarrassed for how they conducted business with our file. I hope no one has to go through what we went through when trying to purchase a home. I’m embarrassed it took us so long to pull out of the deal with Financial Equities. Thank goodness we were able to find a legitimate lender who was able to put together an organized and clean file for us and close on our new home in less than 3 weeks. I wish we never trusted Financial Equities and would absolutely never recommend this company to anyone looking to purchase a home. Please be ware before using this company. DO YOUR RESEARCH!
